I have a two months summer vacation. During the holiday, I was very happy, because I did not have to focus on my study all the time. But I still spent some time in my study. I want to learn more in the holiday. Besides, I spent a lot of time in playing, such as meeting friends, watching TV, searching the Internet, playing computer games and so on. In addition, I help my mother do some house work. I can reduce some burden of her and learn to be independent. In short, I have a good and rich holiday.
This year's summer vacation was most enjoyable. I spent fifteen days helping my grandparents doing farm work in the countryside， where I saw mountains fields covered with green plants. Sometimes I went swimming in the river to the west of the village， the water in which was quite clear.
I kept a diary every day. Besides doing farm work， I help the children in the neighborhood with their lessons. All of them showed interest in English. They could read write wellthey could hardly understand simple English. So every day in the morning I spent about two hours helping them improve their listening spoken English. They all made great progress. Their parents all thought highly of me. I now realize that knowledge is very needed in the countryside.
My vacation was very interesting. I did my homework on first day. I played table tennis on second day. I watched TV on the third day. I went shopping on the fourth day. I… But I liked my going shopping best.
On Sunday, I went to a shopping center with my mother. The shopping center wasn’t far from my home. It took us about ten minutes to get there on foot. The shopping center was very big. There were all kinds of things. Every day a lot of people go there to buy things. It opens at eight in the morning and closes at nine at night. Now, I was helping my mother buying things. I had a shopping list in my hand. We were looking for things on the shopping list. After staying in the shopping center for about two hours, we got all the things and walked home.
What did you do when you were on vacation?
As the winter vacation is drawing near, I have a plan about my vacation. I'm going to do what I want to do. I'm going to study harder in order to get good grades in the following term. After finishing all my homework, I'm going to enjoy myself in the sea of knowledge. Reading must be a good idea. I'm going to keep fit at the same time. I'll get up eary in the morning everyday and play sports. I really love sports. Besides that, Eating a balanced diet is also good for my health. I'm going to help my mom and dad with the housework as well in the vacation.I'll learn to cook. As for travelling, I'm planning to go to Hainan. But whether going there or not will be decided on the weather.During the vacation,I'm going to visit my friends,I really miss them. So you seeThe Winter Holiday I like the winter holiday very much. Arrived in Vancouver on the first day,is already in the afternoon, so good friend's mother decided to let our two people together to do a dinner .His mother cook the pizza. Hanburger, my mother and i do . In addition, the father is responsible for to buy drinks.
My brother and sister are in charge of eating.
After dinner, i and my friends and his younger brother ang sister to the courtyard behind the big swimming pool, especially fun.
